When resources are scarce or are to be developed in an organization I contribute in my role as interim manager. I use a mix of methods that allow applying professional process management also in small and medium enterprises. In addition, I organize workshops and small scale projects for knowledge transfer in a concise manner.

Focus on Renewable Energy / Biomass

General management, business plan, valuation, and supervisory functions in companies dealing with renewable energy, biomass in particular.

  • Example: Managing Director Commercial at ACB Entwicklungs-gesellschaft mbH. The subsidiary of Andritz and Polytechnik erects a demonstration plant for the torrefaction of biomass in Frohnleiten (Styria). The product, being a close substitute to coal, extends the use of biomass for combustion in industrial scale.

  • Example: CFO and liquidator of EBES AG. The international trader of biomass had to close down operations in 2010. In coordination with the most important stakeholders the best possible liquidation of subsidiaries, projects and all other assets is prepared and executed.


Focus on Compliance

Consulting and project management for creating a business plan, introducing risk management, internal audit, ISO/IEC 20000, and IT strategy.

  • Example: ISO/IEC 20000 – preparation for successful certification audit of a regional computing center / financial services in Bratislava.

  • Example: Chief internal auditor in a scientific and services organization – using own expertise for IT audit and coordinating other auditors in their areas of expertise.

The delta allows two different worlds to meet: The river and the sea. As a consequence of this encounter, a biotope emerges. A special biotope with no compact soil but a lot of opportunities to get lost.

Our organizations are sometimes modeled on such natural patterns: A thicket full of bewildering water courses. Little islands and a lot of hiding places.

Whenever a third party makes great demands on the culture of a company or part of it, there is a state of emergency for a while. The usual work flow branches out into special tasks that will all lead into the new environment.
